There are many different forms of insulation that exist in America. As a homeowner you can insulate your walls and attic with fiberglass, cellulose, or spray foam. Most of the homeowners do not know the difference between these installations and why one is better and preferred over another. But when contractors build your home they typically choose fiberglass because it is the cheapest insulation that’s on the market and they want to keep the costs down. At American Hybrid Homes we can help you determine which one will work best for you just by giving us a call at (888) 280-7275 and let us educate you on insulation.

At American hybrid homes our goal is to cut people’s energy costs significantly while the same time increasing the comfort of living. Our business also cares about their environmental footprint that is left behind us. For that reason we choose to use cellulose insulation as our main type of insulation. It is almost entirely composed of recycled newspaper and a mineral called boron. So we believe that not only cellulose is a better insulation for you but it is also a better insulation for the environment and our site.

Cellulose, spray foam and fiberglass all serve the same purpose. Protect your condition space from the outside weather and make sure that you are comfortable while inside your home. But in order to stick to our mission of cutting peoples energy bills, increasing their comfort of living and reducing our environmental footprint we choose cellulose. Not only is it adaptable to any shape that might be in your attic but also it is also fire resistant. This insulation is fire retardant and in case of a flame it will not spread.

We primarily focus our installation work in your attic. If a homeowner addresses the issues that are in his or her attic floor they will see the biggest return on their investment. What we do is go into your attic and pullback insulation that your behalf. Electricians and plumbers drill holes in your attic floor in order to install their work, those holes add up and cause you to loose the air that you paid to heat or cool. We air seal those holes and cracks with spray foam. Once the process is repeated for the whole attic we replaced insulation and cover it with additional 15 inches of our recycled insulation.

Not only is cellulose the most environmentally friendly insulation that’s on the market but it is also one of the most resistant once. It has an R-value of 3.7 per inch. Sodium of the project the homeowner will be left with an airtight attic floor and three times the installation that they have before. This is how we believe we will make a difference and help change the world. If you would like to learn more about various types of installations please give us a call at (888) 280-7275 and let us work together on a project that will help you reduce your day-to-day energy bills and increase the comfort of living. This will be the first step to turning your home into what now would be called an American hybrid home.
